  1. 1. With the high cost for higher education, I believe that free information to college students is very important, especially with the way the economy is working today. It’s beneficial to college students because of the cost, it’s free and it’s also beneficial in other ways. For example, many of this free information are online for students to use. Information on the internet downloads millions of different information sources in a very short few seconds.

    2. Students should be able to access the free information because it benefits them in many ways. As I explained in my answer above, this information loads very fast for the students so it saves a lot of time for these students because they can obtain the knowledge that they are looking for right at their own house.

3.There are many benefits for institutions and educators to shape open content because it extends the students learning. Educators can e-mail or post articles for the students to read or activities that they didn’t have enough time in class to go over. This open content is an excellent resource for students.

  2. 1. I believe that free information is extremely important to both higher education educators and students. With the rising cost of education, along with room and board the cost of books often is a major stress every semester, and if students were allowed the opportunity to have to buy less text books and use free information it would be extremely beneficial. By simply entering a google search anyone is provided with millions of references that provide a wealth of information
    2. I believe that students should be able to access this information because it would be beneficial for them to use as extra reference to class information, for projects or lessons, and many others applications to classes. It is also important for the students to learn how to practice safety and good judgment with resources.
    3. The benefits to institutions and educators who share open content would be providing an extension to their lessons. They can put information up ahead of time so students can be better prepared for class and re read any materials that they did not understand. It is an excellent resource for everyone.

  3. 1) I believe free information, is very important. The high cost for higher education keeps rising. As well college student needs to pay for many other things, such as their room, meal plans, and those way too expensive textbooks. Having free online content be helps students use resources for their classwork. Many college, like myself, become poor and if we had to pay for online content, I probably wouldn't be able to afford to eat. There is so much out there for free, why not take advantage of it.

    2) I believe students should be able to access the information on the internet. It provides them extra learning on their own. I do feel though that it should be monitored, because there are a lot of the things on the internet that kids should not see, as well as their is false information on the internet, so in class the teacher will show students how to know a good source from a bad source

3)Teachers using open content is great because if the student needs to see what they did in class, they can go and view what the teacher put on their page, and it can help parents of the student as well, because they can post the homework schedule and such to help parents stay involved. There are many benefits to using open content.
