Since there are no readings this week listed, I think that a good way to wrap up our blog would be to reflect on technology usage in the classroom as well as using a blog.  I also think it would be good to once again Share your experiences in exploring the mobile learning device: what you use it for, what new things and functions you have discovered, questions/problems and solutions...

Week 13 reading- Backward Design

1. What are the three steps of the backward design process?  Do you think it's beneficial?

2. Do you believe that the schools are preparing students to be socially functional in the world? Why or why not?

3. What does “non-routine cognitive jobs that are non-fungible” mean?

Week 12- Educational Gaming

1. What is your opinion on the inclusion of games for a supplemental educational tool? What are the benefits of using games?

2. Did you try any of the games? If so, what games do you think you would use in a future classroom?

3. Share an experience of using games in your education, practicum, or how you would include it in a future classroom.

Week 11- Digital Youth Network

1. What do you think of the Digital Youth Network?  What are the benefits of having this program in the school?


2. How do you feel about the special program for girls only?  Do you think it's a good idea? Why or why not?
